Peter Head on “Jesus’ Wife” Fragment
The detailed investigation of the “Jesus’ wife” fragment continues. Peter Head (a respected text critic and papyrologist) has recently given a detailed consideration of the features that King proposed as bases for treating the fragment as coming from a genuine ancient text here.
The effect of Head’s discussion is effectively to show that King’s bases are perhaps not so sound as she had thought.
