“Monotheisms” of the Ancient World
Just a quick initial notice of a new series of interviews being arranged by David Burnett on “monotheism” in ancient Israel, second-temple Judaism, and early Christianity. He is scheduling interviews with a small set of scholars, and I’m scheduled to take part sometime later this Autumn.
The initial interview has now been posted, featuring Dr. Nathan MacDonald (St. Andrews University and Goettingen University), who is directing a large, funded projet on ancient monotheisms (NB: yes, the plural is correct). Here’s the link to his comments:
