Review of Wright Published
In earlier postings I’ve mentioned that I’d agreed to review N.T. Wright’s massive opus, Paul and the Faithfulness of God (earlier postings here, here, and here). The review has just appeared as a featured review-essay in the journal Theology 117 (2014): 361-65. It beats me that such a lengthy work was produced with a thick bibliography and yet still end-up holding unsatisfactory viewpoints on major points: monotheism, christology, and Israel/Church identities.
